fizmer
piano, violin, cello (22')
fizmer was inspired by phrases from Robert Macfarlane’s book, Landmarks, a study of words from the British Isles that are no longer in use or on the cusp of being lost. Fizmer is an old East Anglian word that describes the whispering sound of a gentle breeze flowing through reeds or grass.
